The ATXmega128A1 is a low power, high performance and peripheral rich CMOS 8/16-bit microcontroller. The ATXmega128A1 is based on the AVR enhanced RISC architecture. By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, the XMEGA A1 achieves throughputs approaching 1 Million Instructions Per Second (MIPS) per MHz allowing the system designer to optimize power consumption versus processing speed.
